Tim has been with Deacon Engineers since 2009 and is a Principal Mechanical Engineer. Tim is a specialist in pressure vessel design, design verification, fitness for service assessment, inspection, and regulations. Tim has 25+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering design, fabrication, and installation of process and mechanical equipment. He has been involved with the engineering and management of significant engineering design and fabrication projects particularly within Western Australia for the mining, mineral processing, and oil & gas industries.
Tim commenced his career working in large manufacturing workshops producing boilers, pressure vessels, rolling stock, and mining equipment which provided invaluable experience in heavy plate fabrication, welding, non-destructive examination, and heavy machining. This experience is now applied not only in advanced design and assessment work but also in fitness for service assessments and specialist inspection as a certified AICIP inspector.
